Position : Assistant Manager
Responsibilities :
Investigate hardware, software, network and operating system incidents; provide temporary
workarounds and permanent solutions to incidents that arise.
Provide detailed, accurate technical advice and practical support to various departments.
Perform Root Cause Analysis for failures.
Oversee the workmanship of sub-contractors, provide them with detailed instructions, monitor
compliance and implement quality control measures (for e.g. Server hardware implementation)
Research, test, configure and install new hardware.
Assist in the lifecycle management of all infrastructure equipment. Ensure all equipment is asset
coded and recorded in the Asset Management Database. Ensure stock levels are adequate
and periodically tested ready for operational use and the correct disposal of any equipment.
Work alongside other internal and external teams to meet new business initiatives, implement
new solutions, maintain services and assist with the testing requirements.
Provide and circulate documentation of standard procedures, security, installations and fixes.
Manage and recommend authentication methods, secure login processes, and configure
servers and software including Remote Security Authorization equipment, in a manner
compatible with current infrastructure.
Ensure that all equipment in operational use is security compliant and work closely with the
Information Security Officer to monitor and update related policies and procedures.
Any other duties commensurate with the role and grade as may reasonably be requested by
line management
Qualifications :
Graduates – Engineering (CS)/PG : MCA/MBA with Systems
Mandatory Skill Sets :
CCNA/CCNP – MCSE / ITIL /
Knowledge in Servers ( Windows & Unix Environment)
Storage Devices (SAN & NAS)
Network (LAN & WAN)
Security ( Firewall/Proxy/VPN/IPS)
Helpdesk Services
Asset Management
Knowledge in ISO 27001
Sound understanding of networking and communication technology and an in depth knowledge
of server/application products.
Good working knowledge of ICT equipment including server computers, mobile devices, network
and communication devices.
Experience in CISCO network equipment, Server Virtualization, Domain Controller, Active
Directory, Tools management, Communication technologies (e.g. VoIP)
Soft skills required :
Good communication skills, particularly verbal skills, both in person and over the telephone
Ability to work as an individual contributor or team manager
Work Experience : 5 to 8 Yrs
Location : Nagpur
Office Timings :
General Shift – But willing to work other shifts (Afternoon and Night Shift)
Ability and willingness to be available for call-out outside of office hours, and ability to travel as
required.
